I remember watching Flash Gordon on laser disk.
I also remember Beta and VHS tapes and watching my dad link the two units together and copying a movie from one over to the other and then returning the movies to the movie rental store.

My sister had Beta and tried to argue how superior it was. Same mentality as the current Apple fans. I stuck with VHS.

I can top the ammo on the floor story. We had a 38 Smith & Wesson lay on the ground all day between the back of the feeder and the building wall. It wasn't noticed until they pulled the trailer off the building at night. Apparently it had fallen off the rollers and laid in a puddle all day and needed a re-wrap.
