the short history of the democrats is bill clinton pushed the party right and drove republicans far right. obama continued that. ppl started figuring it out and elected trump. biden is more of the same and likely tone deaf to suffering of average american and unlikely to pass reforms (ie go far enough left) to prevent a neo fascist reaction in the future comparable to jan 6 or worse.

im not sure about the best way of demoralizing people, but the state does not want ppl to protest if they did they wouldnt be brutalizing them when they do.

protesting and organizing is actually how you affect change. there are differences between candidates when you vote, but thats not really how change happens. most candidates are mediocre or venal.
