Apparently we have learned NOTHING from Korea, Vietnam or the mid-east. Why do we insist on sticking our noses into other peoples business? What next? China? We are really going to get spanked one of these times.

New poll on Biden from NBC. Republican 28%, Democrat 30, Independent 35.
Is the USA heading in the right direction or on the wrong track?
22% headed in the right direction. Wrong track, 72%.

People are waking up.

Yeah let’s just let the Russians rebuild the Soviet Union. What could go wrong.

You won't stop them the way the USA fights wars now days. It didn't work in Korea, Vietnam or the Mid-east.
its all about feeding the military industrial complex and not about winning a way. the leadership group is designed to promote incompetency in the officer ranks and not the leaders that can win the wars.

The current US military's 2 biggest priorities are Cyber & Multi-Domain Operations (primarily focused on area & logistics denial).
These concepts are solid, but only Trump actually pushed in that direction over the last 20 years.

The current Bumbler in Chief is now directing Ground Unit Strategy inward (Domestically with Guard development vs regular Army/Navy) because his narrative of "the enemy is within" needs that to further the iniquitous Conservative/White Supremacist lie.

Meanwhile, the Pacific is virtually wide open except for the occasional Destroyer transits and an exercise every now and then.

The Pre-positioning of equipment in the EU/ME is now "willy-nilly" with no apparent end-game in sight, unlike under Trump who actually put NATO on notice of their participation/sharing responsibilities.

The "news" has failed to publish the Russia/Cuba/Venezuela/Africa coordination efforts currently underway because that is simply too much for the Bumbler to handle at once. Russian IRBM's in those countries dramatically alters US security.

God help us.

It absolutely did work in Korea, South Korea was a hard fought victory and worthwhile if you look at the atrocities endured by the North to this day. America helped save millions from that fate and weakened an evil communist regime. America won in Afghanistan as well, the Taliban was toppled/out of power. Imagine if we had just left Japan immediately or said okay you’re on your own now europe good luck with the Soviet Union after WW2. That’s basically what America has done in Afghanistan, Afghanistan should of been a major American military outpost right next door to China, now it’s a Taliban led terrorist hotspot supplied with billions to come try to kill us with.

I agree the military has corruption problems with military contractors, but that doesn’t mean we can’t win wars. The greatest threat to our war efforts are domestic and come from the policy makers we elect. When you vote for people promising you defeat and surrender that is what you will get.

Korea was fought to a stalemate (which to this day has never been resolved). We beat the Taliban?---gee that's news to me. You watched one too many "Mission Accomplished" videos.

Yes the taliban no longer was the ruling party of Afghanistan, for the majority of my life.

Actually we ran the Taliban out of the country into Pakistan. They regrouped there with the help of Pakistan (our ally?) and came back in. In some back room of the White House or the Pentagon it was decided that a lot of money could be made and even though we had satellite imagery of them coming in as well as constant caravans from the Pakistanis resupplying the Taliban we just let it happen. Back in the day the Afghans could've fought the British to a win and with our help run the Soviets out. But today we have the technology necessary to whip primitive fighters. This is why Trump was unpopular in the Pentagon. They spent big money on defense contractors and after retirement landed plush jobs with those same contractors for very high pay. He upset the apple cart. As for those who think it would've served some strategic value next to China, if we ever get into a nuclear war with China how long do you think those bases are going to last? Some seem to have no problem getting our soldiers killed and spending huge sums of money to avoid the embarrassment of losing a war to a bunch of people still living in the Dark Ages. Get over it, Trump did the right thing. But Biden fouled it up.

Glad you agree we took the taliban out of power in Afghanistan. You didn’t have to add the “actually”.
