I love it when all these Climate Change Warriors have a conference.
And they all arrive on their private jets.
Strength through Joy? (interesting.....)

"Everyone was feeling Merry at the Christmas Party, but when she left, they all jumped for Joy!" (kinda like that??)

How about this scenario ?
A vacant seat comes open on the Supreme Court. Biden announces on the out set that he is going to nominate a white male.
What is your reaction and would that be considered a racist statement by you?
If so, what is the difference in this and him announcing on the out set the next judge is going to be a black woman?
Kind of like Reagan announcing he would nominate a woman?

"In truth, presidents had long nominated judges—and Supreme Court justices in particular—on the basis of demographics. President Dwight Eisenhower nominated Justice William Brennan because he was Catholic, and the White House believed he needed to shore up support among Catholics. The GOP’s revered President Ronald Reagan campaigned on naming the first woman to the Supreme Court; he followed through with Justice Sandra O’Connor, who was openly selected because of her sex. (By today’s standards, O’Connor—a judge on Arizona’s intermediate court of appeals—was underqualified.) Reagan picked Justice Antonin Scalia because he was Italian American. As White House counsel Peter Wallison later recalled, Reagan wanted a justice of Italian “extraction,” explaining, “We don’t have an Italian American on the court, so we ought to have one.”

"Rising inflation, a continuing pandemic, a foreign policy misstep in Afghanistan and Democratic infighting all marred President Biden's first year, and now a majority of respondents to a new NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll say his first year was a "failure."

In all, 56% said Biden's first year in office was a failure, versus just 39% who said it was a success."

39% of people completely out of touch with reality. Ouch.

Jackson’s 8.9 years of prior judicial experience is more than four of the justices currently on the court—Clarence Thomas, Chief Justice John Roberts, Elena Kagan, and Amy Coney Barrett—had combined. It's also more experience than 4 of the last 10 justices had at their confirmations, or 9 of the last 17, or 43 of the 58 appointed since 1900.

From the article quoted above: "Jackson recently faced scrutiny over her judicial record, which includes high-profile rulings that were later overruled by higher courts."

Prior experience isn't always all it's cracked up to be.
