You prefer DeSantis over Trump because he isn't as abrasive, yet he has the same philosophy and wants the same outcome for the country as Trump. Am I on the right track?

That's what I don't get. Trump may be abrasive, but he ran the country well. And did so with the Democrats trying everything possible to get rid of him. Hated him so much that they'd be willing to put someone in office with absolutely no experience like Michelle Obama. At least Hillary served as a Senator and Secretary of State. Was probably pretty involved as First Lady behind the scenes. Besides public appearances what has Michelle done? We're already suffering the consequences of installing someone incapable of running the administration and you'd vote for more of the same? I'll gladly vote for DeSantis too but if Trump gets the nomination, and Dems are all fired up to keep him from being elected, at least find someone who has solid experience running a state or has shown real integrity like Tulsi Gabbard or Joe Manchin. To be fair he's a left leaning centrist. Look at Joe Manchin. Manchin may be trying to save his political hide in West Virginia, but he took a lot of heat to vote with Republicans on some very key issues. Box Ox strikes me as more a Joe Manchin Democrat than someone who likes AOC. And he has been very critical of the far Left here. I'd still vote for most Republicans before I'd vote Democrat.
