President Trump

Every other leader that spoke about the event knew enough to blame the Nazis. Trump couldn't bring himself to do it. He can and does lob insults at everyone else on the planet at the drop of a hat for the slightest provocation, but couldn't say a bad thing about Nazis. It's disgusting.

yea you libs play the strangest word games now where speaking against all hate means you are somehow supporting some hate. Its snowflake drama at its finest.

Penn Jillette was saying on Bill Maher that we should take down all of em. Our nation shouldn't be celebrating former presidents like kings, they were just men. Not sure I totally agree, but it was an interesting point.

it wont stop. today the rebs, tomorrow the slave owners . then we change the names on the cities. Washington DC is gone.

we will have to rewrite the declaration of independence etc since they were created and signed by slave owners.

MLK was a hater since he was against gay marriage.

probably need to come up with gender neutral names for everything that gets renamed.

and when we're all done black America will still be suffering under the leadership of democrats.

the good news is the drug pushers will have less statues to dodge when running from the police

Yes the constant fear of a slippery slope. I think it's easy to agree that we don't need to celebrate traitors to the nation that fought to own black people.

that generic response tends to be the one we receive when we ask a a simple question where are we headed with this statue madness.

in todays world we play word games to keep people on the defensive . So while trump condemns all hatred and bigotry he is then accused of supporting one form of it. By doing this we suppress the conversation. Most of our political leaders condemned trump for his comments.
not because they were wrong to make but because they have learned that if you do not speak loudly and promptly against the white racist every time someone snaps their fingers then you will be accused of being a racist.

suppress the conversation suppress the resistance.

Resistance to what? Why do you want to celebrate traitors? Why are you against local citizens deciding what statues will be displayed in their public spaces?

which local citizens? This is an organized effort on a national basis.
Look at this chump just making crap up.
City Council voted for the statue to be removed.

How's that special investigator doing with looking into crooked Hillary?
Oh that's right, Trump never appointed one like he promised.
Trump is a failure.

The effort may be organized at the National level but local citizens should make decisions.
I don't think any politician should have anything named after him/her ... too much cost and BS associated with it.
I like cities that have numbers for Avenues and tree/flower names for streets.
