If you like good BBQ and you're over in the Acworth area, check out JD's. Outstanding. Excellent sides, potato salad is killer and of course you can't eat BBQ without banana puddin'.

I lived in NC in the 60's and on any trip to the mountains we would go through Shelby and we always stopped at a BBQ place called Mitchell's. Have no idea if the place is still around as I left NC in the early 70's but the BBQ was really good. MA and BBQ just don't jive with me but if you're talkin Clam Chowder!
