He can get this out of his system while doing 30 other important things.

He's lying.

Or, maybe he believes it.

In either case, his assertion is demonstrably false.

Bring the investigation on, he'll learn what everyone else already knows: there simply isn't significant voter fraud.

Sorry.

It will be fine

At least we'll waste millions of dollars on the investigation. From the party of fiscal conservatives. In the lawsuit against the Texas ID law over the last 10 years there were 46 million votes cast. There was evidence of 2 fraudulent votes. Totally worth the time and effort.

Time to change the election laws in Michigan .
If during an audit should a ballot box's seal be broken or missing , and/or the tally of ballots in the box(es) does not match the poll count then those box(es) can not be audited .

The suspension of allowing refugees coming into the USA is going to really hurt the refugee industry .
Are you aware that money is made on each refugee resettled here .

Secret refugee network ‘freaking out’ over Trump reforms

the federal contractors who serve as fronts for the federal government are “freaking out” because they stand to lose a lot of money, even if the pause only lasts four months. The nine resettlement agencies that include the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and others affiliated with the Lutheran, Jewish and evangelical churches are paid $2,050 per head for every refugee they resettle in America. They get to keep about half of that amount and also make money by securing federal grants to provide services to the refugees.

How much ?
Obama expand the program from about 60,000 a year to 110,000 .

This is a good first step. We need to end all tax exemptions for these religious institutions. Just a bunch of businesses not paying their fair share.

Seems to me leaving Washington is a happy time and coming to Washington isn't so happy. Seriously, who in their right mind would want that friend##king job in the first place?

That didn't take long, Donald is threatening martial law on America. Trump supporters are for big Government.

Trump Threatens to 'Send in the Feds' Because of Chicago 'Carnage'
Not really. They are for whatever allows them to hold onto power. If that's blocking the other side with claims of being for limited government, fine. If it's running up the debt with tax cuts and not having the ability or political fortitude to cut spending, fine. It's a sad, sick system in which (miraculously) things sometimes go ok.

It's a sad, sick system in which (miraculously) things sometimes go ok.

So we can always tell ourselves, "well at least the trains run of time" as a reason to excuse the whole thing? Problem is, even in time that lie is exposed for what is really is. We should just man up and admit the whole thing is sick and not offer any excuses for it.

"SAY WHAT you like about Mussolini, he made the trains run on time. That was the famous last excuse for Fascism, conveying the idea that while dictatorship might not be very nice, at least it got things done.
It is an argument we may hear again following the election triumph of Silvio Berlusconi's Forza Italia and its allies, who include neo-Fascists. After all those years of chaotic politics and corruption, perhaps what the country needs is the smack of firm government. Mr Berlusconi, people may be tempted to say, could be just the man to instil punctuality in those recalcitrant Italian train drivers.

But did Mussolini really do it? Did Il Duce, in his 20 years of absolute power, really manage to make the railway service meet its timetable? The answer is no.

Like almost all the supposed achievements of Fascism, the timely trains are a myth, nurtured and propagated by a leader with a journalist's flair for symbolism, verbal trickery and illusion.

In 1936 the American journalist George Seldes complained that when his fellow-countrymen returned home from holidays in Italy they seemed to cry in unison: 'Great is the Duce; the trains now run on time]' And no matter how often they were told about Fascist oppression, injustice and cruelty, they always said the same thing: 'But the trains run on time.'"

Rear Window: Making Italy work: Did Mussolini really get the trains running on time?
