You do quite a few backflips to support this clown. Trump has shown he's a buffoon. At this point wouldn't conservatives be better off with Pence? He's at least a competent executive and could accomplish conservative legislation while not jeopardizing national security.Did not dispute means little.
Was he at the meeting? Maybe he doesn't know exactly what was said.
He certainly didn't confirm it.

I'm just wondering when the political calculus flips to getting rid of Trump. He's wildly unpopular with everyone except the republican base. He's not going to deliver on his promises. No wall, no 5% GDP growth. He's in the 40s for approval ratings, how low does it have to get to impeach him? 30? 20? 5?I like Pence a lot more than Trump but that doesn't mean there are grounds to get rid of Trump.
Trump was elected for one reason. He's not as bad as Hillary.

The house could impeach anytime for obstruction of justice. At this point it's a political decision not a legal one.You can't impeach on approval ratings.
Read up on your Constitution.

Just ask Bill Clinton!Impeach is just an accusation you do realize? All it does is start the process.
Just ask Bill Clinton!
Yes. I'm well aware. The 66 votes in the senate for a conviction will be hard to come by. Doesn't change the fact that's it's a political decision at this point. How unpopular does he have to get for Republicans to make that call? I think he'd have to stay in the teens for a substantial time.Impeach is just an accusation you do realize? All it does is start the process.
Damn lawyers! Although you could also say that a republican (Nixon) was the only one actually forced out of office by the threat of impeachment. One of only 2 Presidents impeached.
Both Democrats.
Clinton lied about "sexual relations" and look where that went. Trump tells a new lie every other day. There's usually a honeymoon type period where the president is given a chance by the media into their first hundred days, this time though the media continued to hammer Trump before the election and hasn't let up. Trump is stupid for engaging the media that will never accept him, but if he backed off a bit and let the media and the Dems hit him the public opinion will likely lean towards him much like Clinton in the 90s when the Repubs hit Clinton hard with the scandal then. The public gets tired of one sided attacks and has a tendency to favor the attacked out of sympathy if they attacks go on too long, and in this highly active 24 hour news cycle it wouldn't take long if Trump didn't strike back but just made simple policy announcements while the Dems go after him for everything for people to get tired of what they view as petty drama and side with Trump.
I'm not sure he even sees it like that, that he's consciously lying or being dishonest. My impression is that he views words and statements as just a tool to get what he wants and in that regard they are either successful or unsuccessful, whether or not they are objectively true doesn't really enter into it.Clinton lied about "sexual relations" and look where that went. Don't forget about the Supremes.Yes. I'm well aware. The 66 votes in the senate for a conviction will be hard to come by. Doesn't change the fact that's it's a political decision at this point. Typical 5 year old. Doesn't mean they aren't lies. Doesn't mean they are without consequences.I'm not sure he even sees it like that, that he's consciously lying or being dishonest.
