PT Air to FT Ground

Let's face it, they are bidding this to cover the 12 or so days out of the year that they can't schedule correctly. My question is, if I become full-time, when I run air, will I still be classified under air for top wage? I'm at top air wage now. Please god tell me I don't have to start back at $16.10.

If you qualify as a FT package car driver your wage would stay the same until progression passes over your old air rate if you are classified as a PT air driver only.

Wow, so I'd be making my wage now running ground not bad.

To clarify further... you get to keep the pay rate of your PRIMARY pt job. So if you are strictly a PT driver yes you would be red-circled at that driver wage, but if your primary shift is package handling, you will be red circled at your inside rate instead

I think full time ground ended around 1983. Half of what I deliver is some sort of air.
