Question about cover

if you work inside the hub as your main job but you are also cover for feeder such as fueling or shifter.Once they call you to do those can one refuse to cover and instead do his main job inside building?

How exactly does the title: "Cover driver" go about? Do you choose to become a cover driver or do they just accommodate it for you once you bid for a route or bid for a FT position

I got it thru bid sheet that was posted.its non cdl. Once again not my permanent position. Im just there to cover shifter or fueler once they call in.

Sure---of course, if you say no just once, they will never ask you to drive again.

Its Non driving position.Its smaller hub so its part time. I still make what i do inside loading and when im out shifting.
