Not everybody gets the same thing. Here where I am at, Overtime is anything over 8, and over 40…wow, you guys are getting OT at over 5, and 6…where are you guys at?

That's horrible. Is it the supplements or state law that dictates that kind of a difference? I've never hard that a PTer can't get OT past 5 hours. Not saying it's not true just that it kind of floored me. One of the fliers I got in the mail talked about one of the "concessions" that the Union beat back was that UPS wanted no more OT past 5 hours for PTers.

Yeah I was just talking about part time. it's been that way since I've been here (not that long but still) and it's been that way for everybody I know here.
Our P/T get OT after 5hrs on pre-load and re-load, however the new language in the Central lets them drive ground pkgs and they must work over 8 to get OT. And the rate for these guys will be 16.00 per hour. If this passes UPS will never bid another friend/T driver in the Central. Welcome to the wonderful world of the permanent P/T driver!
