Ready to Strike?

True but I don’t think if we go on strike the Union we come out stronger either. The public are not going to be sympathetic to someone making $41.51hr. In all honesty leave my pension and health care alone. Give me $5 raise like last time and I’m game.
Well the part-time pay needs raised up and there's also lots of language that needs cleaned up

Last paragraph of that article is a quote from Carol Tome it says this; “Our goal with the Teamsters is win-win-win,” she told investors in July. But she added that UPS is “building contingency plans.”

Anyone have ideas on what those contingency plans are? Because she declined to comment when asked.

Scare tactics! It’s what they use every contract year! There is know contingency plans! Nothing moves! No pilot s! No air! No Feeders! No Drivers! No mechanic s ! Just management moving pkgs. from the before! That’s how it was in 97.

I think you’ll be surprised how many people don’t want a strike

Last time so few people cared that they didn't even bother to vote no on the strike authorization. The real question is why do you respect yourself and your union brothers and sisters so little that you would go on a public forum showing your lack of support for doing what is necessary to get a good contract? Is your user name a misdirection and are you really management? That would be the only understandable reason for your actions.

Why is everybody so worried about whether the public is sympathetic or not
The company makes more the workers need to make more
And the public doesent know what we do
so they can :censored2: off

I would suggest that you reread my post, but I have a feeling that would be fruitless. Sufficed to say, I did not say what you said I did.
