Disney Mickey's Meatloaf

2 lbs ground beef
1 lb ground pork
1−1/2 onions, diced
1/8 Teaspoon garlic, granulated
2 cups bread crumbs, fresh
2/3 cup cold water
1/8 Teaspoon thyme
1/4 cup parsley, chopped
1 whole egg
1 Teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/8 Teaspoon salt

Soak bread crumbs in cold water and set aside. Saute diced onion until
tender. Set aside and allow to cool. Pre−heat oven to 350 degrees. In a
large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, onions, granulated garlic, and
bread crumbs mixed with water. Mix well and add remaining ingredients. Mix
well and mold into loaves. form in either loaf pans or a meat pan with sides
high enough to hold juices. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Can I grill that???

Chick−Fil−A Coleslaw

6 cups shredded cabbage
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup shredded carrots
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 − 1/2 cup milk

Mix & Chill 15 minutes.


Meanwhile combine:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. celery seed
2−3 drops hot sauce
3 Tbsp. dry minced onion
1/4 − 1/2 cup buttermilk
Mix well with cabbage. Chill. Allow flavors to blend for
several hours before serving.

Pasta With Shrimp In Lemon Cream Sauce
Serves/Makes
: 4 | Difficulty Level: 3 | Ready In: < 30 minutes

Ingredients:

1 pound angel hair pasta, uncooked
2 tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 pound raw shrimp (medium or large), peeled and deveined
2 lemons, juiced
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
1 cup cream
freshly grated good quality Parmesan cheese
freshly milled black pepper to tasteDirections:Cook and drain pasta.

While pasta is cooking, melt butter in a large sauce pan, over medium heat. Saute garlic in the butter 1-2 minutes or until lightly browned.

Add shrimp to pan; cook for 1-2 minutes.

Add lemon juice, lemon zest, oregano, and white pepper; continue to cook another 2-3 minutes or until shrimp turn pink.

Reduce heat to low and gently stir in cream; heat for 2-3 minutes.

Serve over angel hair pasta with freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Add freshly milled black pepper, if desired.

"This tender yeast crust reaches perfection when baked on a pizza stone. No need to partially bake it before topping with your favorite pizza ingredients."

Ingredients:
1 cup warm water (110 degrees friend/45
degrees C)
1 tablespoon white sugar
2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Directions:
1.Stir water, sugar and yeast together until dissolved. Add the olive oil and the salt. Stir in the flour until well blended. Let dough rest for 10 minutes.
2.Pat dough into pan or on to a pizza stone using fingers dipped in olive oil. If desired sprinkle basil, thyme or other seasonings on crust. Top with your favorite pizza toppings and bake for 15 to 20 minutes in a preheated 425 degree oven.

Ingredients
    • 1 (1 -1 1/2 lb) pork tenderloin
    • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
    • 1/3 cup sesame seeds
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 375°friend.
  2. Brush entire pork tenderloin with hoisin sauce. Roll in sesame seeds to coat all sides.
  3. Roll in sesame seeds to coat all sides.
  4. Roast for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reads 145°friend.
  5. Rest 5-10 minutes before serving. Serve over your favorite stir-fried vegetables tossed with sesame oil.

When you need a dessert to serve a crowd, make this and be prepared to hear "yum" from those who taste it!

CHERRY YUM YUM

1-1/2 sticks butter
3 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup sugar
2 enveloped whipped topping mix, such as Dream Whip
1 cup cold milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 pkg (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup sugar
2 cans cherry pie filling (about 20 oz. each)

Melt the butter and combine with graham cracker crumbs and the 1/4 cup sugar. Mix well and place about half of the mixture in a 9x13 inch pan or dish, pressing firmly. Prepare the whipped topping mix according to package directions using the cold milk and vanilla extract. Add the cream cheese and cream until smooth. Add sugar and beat again. Spread half of this mixture over the graham cracker layer. Spread the cherry pie filling over the cream cheese layer. Top it with the rest of the cream cheese mixture and top that with the rest of the graham cracker crumb mixture. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour, preferably 24 hours, before serving. Yield: about 12 servings.

Now I know why I don't like their slaw. I am such a slaw snob, lol, I only like my own.

Me too. I make my own and never measure. It's great.
We used to order a case of it from Columbus Ohio (Marzetti's Slaw Dressing). Not the refrigerated kind.
That got expensive, so I kept practicing and got it where I like mine better than Marzetti's....although their's is very good.

I don't measure either. Isn't that the way the best cooks do it?? My sauce is made with
Mayo
Sugar
Mix well. It will still be grainy at this point.

Add next four ingredients to the mayo/sugar mixture
Lemon juice
Chopped onion
Fresh milled black pepper
Grated sea salt
Whisk well, then I place it in the fridge usually overnight. You don't need to but I try to get small things out of the way when I plan to cook on a larger scale. Plus it gives the sugar time to dissolve.

Mine's
A couple tablespoons white vinegar and same amount of Splenda or sugar (diabetic, so I lay off the sugar)
dash of celery seed
equal mix of mayo and Miracle Whip

toss with shredded cabbage and let marry in the fridge all day 'til dinner time.

Recipe Details
Bake Time: 20-30 minutes Yields:
12 servings
Ingredients
4 cups raw zucchini, diced
1 1/2 cups butter
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon each salt and pepper
1/4 teaspoon each oregano, garlic powder, basil
2 tablespoons dried parsley flakes
8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1 1/2 cans crescent rolls
2 teaspoons yellow mustard

Directions
  1. Press crescent rolls into a pie plate and brush with mustard, set aside.

  2. Cook zucchini, onion, and all spices in butter until tender, remove from heat.

  3. Add eggs and cheeses.

  4. Pour zucchini mixture in pie plate, and bake uncovered for 20-30 minutes.

  5. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

Easy Mexican Casserole

"This Mexican casserole recipe made with layers of tortilla chips, beef, and salsa makes a quick and easy dish that will please the whole family."

Ingredients:
1 pound lean ground beef
2 cups salsa
1 (16 ounce) can chili beans, drained
3 cups tortilla chips, crushed
2 cups sour cream
1 (2 ounce) can sliced black olives,
drained
1/2 cup chopped green onion
1/2 cup chopped fresh tomato
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions:
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees friend (175 degrees C).
2.In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until no longer pink. Stir in salsa, reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed. Stir in beans, and heat through.
3.Spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray. Spread crushed tortilla chips in dish, and then spoon beef mixture over chips. Spread sour cream over beef, and sprinkle olives, green onion, and tomato over the sour cream. Top with Cheddar cheese.
4.Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
