You do you too! The Holy Spirit teaches what the Holy Spirit teaches and to whom He teaches. I condemn no man, if We disagree, we disagree, I am better than no one. Never said I was.

I never say listen to me, I say listen to God not man.

How am I showing intolerance to them. By having different views?
It’s not really just a different view you condemned writers of the Bible, who YOU say the Holy Spirit said aren’t showing love. That’s a pretty damn statement. And you’re being intolerant of others views because you’ve already told numerous people on this message board that they clearly don’t speak to the Holy Spirit or understand Christianity because YOU say the Holy Spirit told you so. So you get to hide behind the Holy Spirit while condemning others. That’s a pretty good gig if you can get it.

And how do you determine which teachings in the New Testament aren't of God, but of religion? Anything you personally disagree with? You insist you're taught directly by the Holy Spirit but refuse to accept the writers of the Bible were guided by the Holy Spirit.
Wherever statements or viewpoints in the Bible communicate lack of love or are contrary to Jesus’s example then it is my belief that they are not of God, but of man’s religion. I never denied that the writers of the Bible were inspired by by God to write about God.

So the Holy Spirit didn’t tell you that? You’re following your own beliefs OK well that is quite different and is exactly what the Bible tells us to be careful of. Thank you for clarifying.

Nothing personal, but I think I’ll trust what the Bible says over YOUR beliefs. And I would suggest other others do the same.

Think what you want. I never try to tell Flushy or the Van Man or you for that matter, what they should or you should believe.

I really don’t fully understand what or where you are getting this from but I am 100% for religious freedom and freedom of conscience. What anyone else believes is between them and God, I have held this view for decades.

So where in the New Testament, which is for Christians, are you seeing lack of love or is contrary to the example Jesus set for us?

Nah, you just accuse us of unbelief and ask if we have a conscience.

Really? Yes I am following my own beliefs.

If that is what you believe then by all means you should be careful. You are welcome.

If that is what you believe about the Bible then you definitely should trust your beliefs and not mine because we don’t trust or view the Bible in the same way, no doubt.

It is reasonable for you suggest to others to follow beliefs that you don’t believe in.

It’s kind of like passive aggressive. You say they’re wrong but then you say you don’t believe anybody is wrong and people can believe what they want lol it’s confusion.

And you have to remember @BrownFlush and @vantexan and I may disagree about some of the scriptures meaning, but what we don’t disagree with that it’s the inspired word of God and holy. There isn’t contradictions and there isn’t things that should be ignored or discarded.

I didn’t say I believed it, you said that that’s what you do. I don’t trust my belief. That’s why I use the Bible to guide me when I feel I’m being left by the spirit. Maybe I’m not, maybe it’s just me. The Bible is the litmus test.

You and others are the ones who says you don’t believe God speaks to humanity anymore, only from a book, not me.

That is the only unbelief I am referencing, you self proclaimed unbelief.

I did not mean to offend your proclaimed beliefs.

Even so I only meant to comment on their claim of unbelief. How they formed or established this belief is between them and God.
So their unbelief is a form of belief? And why does it matter to you if all roads lead to Christ their unbelief won’t matter anyway they’re going to heaven. You’re arguing for no reason. Not to save a soul because their souls are already saved.

I only said I would pray for this specific unbelief because I have experienced and observed individuals who believed as they did and once they started to believe that God spoke to them in many ways and not exclusively through the Bible, they started to actually hear him more clearly, personally, and intimately. They also started to experience changes in their life and strongholds that were formed were being released.
