In conversation do you make it a habit of thinking the way others feel. Seems odd but ok. Definitely not part of my spiritual program.

Everything I say? That’s debatable, but feel free to think I feel differently than what I am saying.

Do you see lack of love in the verses that you posted?
Imagine a Christian being ashamed of what the Bible says.

Almost makes me think Paul is talking about “Christians” like this.

I don’t even know what you’re talking about.

And no, I don’t see the lack of love. I see Paul giving directions to people.

False teachings would lead to damnation and being accursed.

I do see someone telling others they can do as they, please as the opposite of love.

That’s actually what Satan does. And he has fooled many people into believing that is OK. They are actually working for him and don’t know it.
He is the great deceiver.
Ok.

About the verses, IMO you add words that just aren’t there but Ok. Vanny man does that frequently as well.

To your point and question, no I love hen Paul focus‘s exclusively on the Good News of Christ and that reality that without the Good News Christ and no other gospel that one stands accursed, even if they don’t know it.

That was my experience, yours. To not I encountered Jesus my life was devoid of the love of God, even when I didn’t know I was.

I added nothing you’re lying.

By your very words if Paul has good news there must also be bad news.

The idea that someone like you who takes whatever part of the Bible you want and uses it to create a different religion would tell me I added or subtracted something from the Bible is hilarious.

You only love Paul when he says things you agree with that’s not really love by the way.

I can only imagine. I have personally never heard of a Christian being ashamed of what the Bible says.

Personally, I love the Bible and I find it very useful for instruction. I am not ashamed of it, even the flaws and the mistakes that some of the writers have made in their imperfections. God uses mistakes all the time to teach. I have found mistakes to be particularly useful in teaching my inner self of my need for God himself and not religion.

Neither have I that’s why I don’t understand why you’re ashamed of it.

Flaws and imperfections? The Bible doesn’t try to hide anything.

Nothing Paul said in the Scriptures I quoted was a flaw or imperfection. It was a direction for people to stay on the correct path and not follow their own desires.

Where does the word false teachings appear in the verses? You use those words I did not see them. I didn’t even see that thought implied.

I understand I can’t control how you think of me or what you think of my beliefs. I believe 100% in the freedom of religion and freedom of conscience in all matters concerning God.

No, that is not true. I love Paul even Though he says some things in the Bible that I think, lack love and disagree with.

As I stated I am not.

I you believe in the modern doctrine of Bible inerrancy and infallibility?

I do not.

Yes, the verses you posted it clearly stated that the only Gospel to be preached. The only good news to be preached is the good news of Christ.

I never stated that I believe the Bible tries to hide anything.

In order to have good news, they would have to be bad news.

Otherwise, there will be no need for the good news.

No, God has given us a guide and we aren't free to reject any of it. You said the Apostle Paul wrote things that you don't believe reflect the teachings and love of Jesus. Yet Jesus chose him and no other apostle was as great an influence on the early Church. So what did he write that you disagree with? By whose authority do you reject those verses?
If God has given us the freedom to reject him why would you think he hasn’t given us the freedom to reject some things in the Bible?

do you believe God has given mankind freedom to reject him?

I believe there is always a need for God’s love. People don’t have to think they’re bad to need God’s love. I believe everyone needs God’s love even when they don’t believe they do.

God so loves the world he doesn’t hate it.

What does this have to do with what we’re talking about?

God love is obviously always there for people, but they can reject it by their actions and sometimes when other people tell them, they’re doing things that aren’t against God‘s will they enable them and damned them. Are you an enabler? I choose to be around someone who would give me wise counsel not tell me what I want to hear all the time.

Not sure what you mean?

We were talking about the Gospel of Christ, no?

God’s expression of love to mankind.

Yes, we are and we’re also talking about how you don’t believe it’s gospel. Kind of interesting.

I would say people who believe the Bible is infallible and follow it have faith.

I would say people who believe the Bible has lots of mistakes and contradictions are crazy.

So another gospel? Perhaps exactly what Paul may have been referring to in the verses you posted.

The Gospel of Christ, is the only one for me. There is no other gospel apart from Christ as far as I’m concerned. Believe what you want, but it seems to me that Paul agrees with me in these verses that you posted. I say you go with what you believe according to your conscience, even if it is simply because the Bible says so.

Please show me where I've added words? This is how you get out of a bind. You make a statement but aren't willing to back it up. Just deflect onto others. Lacking integrity.

Except you aren't espousing the same Gospel Paul did.
