I use the New Living Translation Bible in my daily life, and it reads nothing like that? This is directly from mine….

When Jesus walked on the earth, to speak evil of Him , to reject Him as the Messiah and even to kill Him could be forgiven. To speak with abuse and contempt about the Holy Spirit, to attribute the power of the Holy Spirit to Satan, and to reject the witness of the Holy Spirit (His power to do the miraculous that was given to Jesus and the Apostles) so to prove that "Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God" (John 20:30, 31), was a sin that would never be forgiven.
The reason for this was that there would be no other witness given to cause them to accept Jesus, and repent of their sins. Having rejected the final witness, no other witness was coming to "convict" them "in respect of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment," and they would not repent. Without repentance there is no forgiveness (Luke 13:5)
It's possible to commit this sin still today Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit happens when one has viewed all the evidence that the Holy Spirit has revealed ( the Bible) and rejects that evidence as being false and of man or Satan. With no other evidence left to give, and no more coming, it has been "once for all delivered" (Jude 3), there is nothing to convince us or convict us and cause us to repent. There will be no forgiveness for this rejection today because nothing else is coming to convince you.

Well, by your measurement, Paul was just a man. So we can just throw that passage out because he might be wrong. Or at the very least, you can interpret it differently.

Jesus was talking in Matthew.

People will attempt to use religion, the bible, and worldview to fit the wants in their lives.

This makes it so important to be careful as to who you follow and what the motivation they have when walking in faith

I would not throw away any passage from any book that God might be teaching somebody something, I wouldn’t do that for any book not even the Bible.

More accurately, it was someone saying what Jesus had said. Some scholar say Mathew some scholars say perhaps an anonymous writer.

And yes, I do believe Paul was just a man.

So in your opinion the whole Bible could be a lie? Jesus didn’t write any of these these words himself. They were all written by someone else.

Do you think this might be blasphemy against the Holy Spirit on your part, believing that since the Holy Spirit guided this book being written?

Who among us is not guilty of going to the Bible to prove what one believes (what we want it to say) instead of going to the Bible to understand what we should( what it actually says) believe?

While I do believe anything is possible I do believe it is highly improbable that the whole Bible is a lie. I do not view it as that nor do I believe that.

Please let me know what book of the Bible that biblical/religious scholars attribute as being authored by the person of Jesus.

I do believe it is the Spirit God who is over and behind all things of creation, no?

Just in my little town of 1,500 we have such a vast array of what is called religion. We have everything from the doom and gloom wrath of God missionary baptists, the progressive Espiscopals, the almost Universalist Unitarian United Methodist, the southern baptist style that I attended as a teenager, and even the ever famous Grove Church whose claim to fame is having Flamy Grant to come to their church to preach and sing. It can be so confusing to find someone to trust and what their purpose is in Christ's teachings

He's not saying Jesus authored any of the books. But Jesus's words were chronicled in the Bible by a number of writers.

Now you are saying what someone is not saying. Whatever.

Yes as I said Jesus personally didn’t write down his words. Others wrote down what they are saying he said.

Just look at how you mishandle what others actually say. Nothing more need to be said about how that goes sideways.

We still haven't found a church out here that we feel like we are being called to. We still are part of Biltmore Church based out of Arden, NC. Have been with them for probably 16 or 17 years now. We've loved it so much and have struggled finding a home base out here. It's a 40 minute drive to their Franklin campus so until we fit in somewhere out here, Biltmore it remains

The Holy Spirit inspired the writings in this book to be correct. Seems like saying that the writings might not be correct Is like saying the Holy Spirit did not inspire the Bible, which could be saying the Holy Spirit not truthful. Seems like that might be blasphemy to me. 🤷‍♂️ Be careful..

Thanks, I do believe your warning is sincere.

Are you not, or have you not been inspired by the Holy Spirit at times in your life?
