ups is unfair.

long hours. you have no say in the decisions which affect you proportionately. packages are too heavy. no idea how rich the owners are. no air con. poor treatment by managers.

when we talk about democracy which is the opposite of oppression which the bible uses, who should have a say over the temperature in my house? maybe just me since im affected by it.
if im blasting a radio at work, who should have a say over how loud it can be? maybe any worker affected by the sound.
You've created this fantasy where everything is supposed to be fair. Is UPS unfair? The workers do have a say through their union. They get good compensation and good benefits in exchange for their labor. Where you think it's unfair is that they have to work hard for their pay and benefits. And why does it matter to you how rich the owners are?

Everyone of every race!

Every sinner and every saint!

God so loves them.

God so loves you!
When I asked ,who is my neighbor, I was quoting scripture. What follows is the parable of the Good Samaritan.
I was making fun of rickyb when I began blowing about the parable of the Canadian.....

You go off into word salad as usual...

God’s Word is a Him not an it.

Jesus.
This same Word became flesh and dwelt among men. "And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth" (Jn. 1:14). The same Word that was in the beginning is the one that came in the flesh, they are not two different persons. But the Word's state or condition changed.

The Bible is not a him.

Dude you sleep with your girlfriend out of wedlock. That's definitely not the Christian standard. You spend so much time telling everyone how evil they are because they don't conform to your idea of how things should be. Life is as hard as you make it. Learn to be thankful for what you do have, and if you want more, work for it.

Exactly.

Yes the Bible is a religious document.

The Word of God is Jesus.

May you experience His love, His peace, His joy.

Do you truly like making fun of people?

I know I once thought I did, God showed me in my innermost self that it was destructive to keep justifying that behavior.

May you experience God’s love for you today and always!!

That's a dodge. We are told extensively how to live the Christian life. If speaking directly with God and he with us was part of being a Christian then it would be told to us in the Bible.
God is not bound by paper, and ink. God, the living God, is above all creation. That includes the Bible.

You say the Bible says you are not to believe that God speaks to us directly.

I say the living God says that I am not to place religious writings above Him, that He does not write books, He writes on men’s hearts.

Van man, has he written on your heart?

I amazed by God’s love us, my brethren.

Peace.

The Bible was given to us by God as a guide. In the Bible we're told to pray to God. It never says we will be able to converse with him. You're making up your religion as you go rather than accept God's commandments given to us in the Bible.

Although there is beautiful instruction, principles in religion and the are many religious means to seek the living God in Christ Jesus, the God-man , religion alone apart from Holy Spirit means nothing.

God alone, from whom all things come means everything.

The main instruction I see from the Bible, is the truth of without God personally moving in a person‘s life through the Holy Spirit, the Bible itself is impotent in one knowing God, or understanding God in the way God’s love seeks us. You may find God through religion, through reading but I believe if when you find Him you claim Him to be bound to what you found Him through, you will be binding yourself to the very thing and not to Him.

Bind yourself to Jesus, abide in Him. Not in religion, not to a religious book.

Although I do love the book so!!!

its not my idea about how things should be, im saying this is evil, this goes against what the bible says. the bible talks about people made poor through exploitation. it talks about oppression. its about love. so instead of lying to ourselves which is so so common, we need to use our common sense and say what really jives with the bible.

have you ever considered that if you are just thankful all the time, you might let evil people get away with stuff they shouldnt?

you say life is as hard as you make it? so did i make the inflated housing prices when i was born? if i was born in a poor country, did i make that situation?
