That’s ok if you aren’t sure, more will be revealed as your faith increases. Are you hearing voices?

Did I anywhere suggest that we can't lose our salvation? That would be the abuse of grace Paul was talking about.
The very idea of the false doctrine of once saved one cannot be lost, gives one the very mindset to do that.
After one becomes a Christian (He that believes and is baptized shall be saved- Jesus) The relationship demands that forgiveness is still conditional.
Written to Christians: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9 Prayer, repentance, confession = Forgiveness
If one believes he cannot be lost and forgiveness is unconditional, why bother.
It's ok if you're not sure, more voices will be revealed as your faith decreases.
No.Did I anywhere suggest that we can't lose our salvation?
Even though you guys come from the same denomination, van isn't shackled with guilt from the hardness of his heart. It allows him grace & understanding to those around him.No.
But, when @FromOffTheStreets likes your post, it's worth a look. You may have unintentionally gave the wrong idea.
@vantexan doesnt like gays or muslims. i wouldnt call that being understandingEven though you guys come from the same denomination, van isn't shackled with guilt from the hardness of his heart. It allows him grace & understanding to those around him.
Yeah well,, you’re past grace and understanding. You flat out deny the plain teaching of scripture because of the hardness of your heart…. What’s that..? Did I just hear a small still voice…?Even though you guys come from the same denomination, van isn't shackled with guilt from the hardness of his heart. It allows him grace & understanding to those around him.
Doesn’t like or doesn’t approve of their behavior?@vantexan doesnt like gays or muslims. i wouldnt call that being understanding
I can find the church the Lord built in the NT.Even though you guys come from the same denomination,
Trust me. The last thing you make me do is cry. If you take quoting scripture to prove your false teaching as a personal attack, I accept the crown.
Matthew 7:21-23 has many points. To practice lawlessness is to do and teach things that are without authority. If it's not in his will, you have no authority to teach it or practice it.. Faith alone salvation is not found in his will. Accept Jesus in your heart and pray for salvation is no where to be found in his will.
2 Tim .2:19 : God knows absolutely who are acceptable in His sight, and who are not. He is the author of the relationship, and sees the innermost part of each heart.
John 6:64 Whenever you post scripture, you might want to add some commentary so a first grader will know what Calvin wants you to believe. We can trade passages all day but, without commentary there is no discussion.
This text is simply recognizing the Deity. He was fully aware of Judas' betrayal of him, knowing his character weakness when he chose him and his plans for delivering him into the hands of the Jews.
65 - I'm guessing since you didn't say anything that this draw is that small still voice that you can't hear or explain.
The great commission has commanded us to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them, those who have become disciples in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit" (Mt. 28:19). No one who lacks the characteristics of a disciple is a proper subject of baptism. The "making disciples" emphasizes that one is drawn to Christ through teaching; Christianity is a taught religion. The Bible answer to how "the draw" is done is in the same chapter a few verses before your feeling that just can't be explained.
Jesus said, "No one can come to Me, unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day. It is written in the prophets, `And they shall all be taught of God.' Every one who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me" (Jn. 6:44-45).
70- Looks like Jesus affirming his Deity to me but again, I can't comment on your no comment.
''Judas was chosen to do exactly what he did.'' Ok. What's your point?
Coc came out of the reformation & was recognized in 1906...without the reformation your group wouldn't existI can find the church the Lord built in the NT.
When you find a Baptist denomination in there, let me know.. What’s that? A man established it like 1600 years after the Lord established his church? Wowza.
Noone denies baptism. We don't believe it saves as you do.Yeah well,, you’re past grace and understanding. You flat out deny the plain teaching of scripture because of the hardness of your heart…. What’s that..? Did I just hear a small still voice…?
The Bible can lead to numerous interpretations & theologies. It's why there are a thousand denominations. I would disagree with most of them & I'm ok with that, you are not.@FromOffTheStreets
Stop crying and realize if you can’t defend your belief by what the Bible teaches, it’s not the messenger. How about some commentary instead of crying about how much nicer Van is than me. If you want nice, talk with Integrity. You’ll still be lost, but you can stroke each other with niceties.
Not reformation. Restoration. And it was "recognized" way before 1906 smh. The church was recognized and established in 33AD as was prophesied.Coc came out of the reformation & was recognized in 1906...without the reformation your group wouldn't exist
Sorry you feel that way. I'm not ok with it because God's word is not ok with it.The Bible can lead to numerous interpretations & theologies. It's why there are a thousand denominations. I would disagree with most of them & I'm ok with that, you are not.
I'm not ok with teaching not found in scripture. You teach salvation by faith alone. The Bible does not.Noone denies baptism. We don't believe it saves as you do.
I'm ok with the disagreement, you are not

Estimate are 33,000-45,000 denominations. Some don’t believe in singing to God with musical instruments others do.The Bible can lead to numerous interpretations & theologies. It's why there are a thousand denominations. I would disagree with most of them & I'm ok with that, you are not.
Unfortunately being a disciple of the Bible is not equivalent to being a disciple of Jesus.I'm not ok with teaching not found in scripture. You teach salvation by faith alone. The Bible does not.
You deny baptism is for the purpose plainly taught in scripture. I'm still waiting for you to show me the verse that teaches it's an outward expression of inward feeling.
You don't teach it saves? The apostle Peter did. Acts 2:38 1Peter 3:21
