Other countries have long wait lines to see a specialist. Have doctor and nurse shortages.
yea we do here.

i can see a doctor same day. xray same day.

when i broke my arm i almost had surgery next day, got a cast on same day; saw a specialist and doctor same day.

doesnt matter how much you hurt yourself, cost of healthcare wont go up for you.

We'll end up with less people going into the medical field and eventually shortages here too.
Think we can’t find doctors from Great Britain, Germany, Japan, India, Mexico, Columbia, South Africa, Kenya, Spain, Ireland, France, New Zealand, Pakistan, China, South Korea, Brazil, Iceland, Canada...ok, maybe not Canada...

Fact is, there are doctors and specialists that would be here in a moments notice to fill any vacancy over night.

Oh, I understand, we need immigration of people willing to do jobs Americans won't do. Gotcha, as Sarah Palin might say.

We have a market based system with sky high prices. Demand is much higher than supply, that’s a shortage.
Actually we don't have a market based healthcare system. Easily explainable on my part. I responded to your assertion, you go first.
It's a conversation "we need to have," to frame it as every progressive leftist, does when they want to speak without listening.

Yeah, "60 Minutes" did a segment awhile back how nursing shortage in England was taking away English speaking nurses from South Africa. Pointed out how wealthy nations were causing a brain drain amongst developing nations. Is that really fair to them?
