WOW! I remember in the 60's coming home from school in the afternoon and my mom always watched his show so naturally I as well caught a many of them.

Yep...I used to watch his show with my mother.

His talk show was a local Cleveland show back in '61. Cleveland stations were our (Akron) stations. He went national in '63. Loved the show. Some of the best ones were when he had Zsa Zsa as a guest. Now he's back to that "Ole Buttermilk Sky". Now you all are really old if you remember that song he sang with Kay Kyser's band!

Mike was on at our house when I was young too.I`ll never forget when he had Frank Zappa on as a guest.Frank did not make it easy.
