Show of hands: who usually makes it to their union meetings?

I go to one pretty much every other month. The reason is because they always do it on a Thursday at 7. If it was on the weekend I'd be there everytime.

Tried to have them change the day but they were having none of that.

Our local meetings are the last Sunday morning of every month, suspended June, July and August.
I go to almost every one, and have been for quite some time.
The meetings last about 2 hours nowadays, lots of good information from our officers and BAs in their reports. There are usually guest speakers, politicians, labor leaders, giving a presentation.
The hall is usually full or close to it.

Our local also cancels meetings during the summer months.

Did you do that on your own?
