With our supply chain currently slowed down and store shelves lacking products, a columnist for the Washington Post thinks we Americans need to lower our expectations. What say you?

Lower expectations because we are a nation of consumers not manufacturing. Ttku....

Yes...that is the mindset of socialist commies. Lower our standards of average and accept this is the best we can do.
Forget being the best, strongest, and having it all. Be glad for what they let you have and shut up.

Now let’s imagine that Donald Trump is still President. US supply chains are in their current condition. Does Micheline Maynard still feel the same way? That Americans are just spoiled and that we should be lowering our expectations?

Do you think the the transportation secretary would have gotten any media heat for taking two months off work in the middle of a crisis?

No no no, Pete and his husband are heroes for changing diapers while the American people suffer...

You're more than welcome to prove me wrong. LB port should give you an indication how we are dependent on the overseas manufacturing. Not the other way around.
Anyone with half a brain knows we’re dependent on foreign goods. Doesn’t mean we need to lower our expectations. We are not and have never been a country of lower expectations. If we were, we would have never gotten where we have. You people keep lowering your expectations, I’ll keep raising mine.

Raise yours all you want. You're just sticking your head in the sand and ignoring the real problem. Your expectations won't change a damn thing.

His nipples are still sore from the breastfeeding though.
