Storming the Capitol

i can because its never happened before while antifa frequently does this.
Of course it hasn’t. Which is why the fact that it actually happened is so breathtaking and why a lot of people are super pissed at Trump for inciting actual insurrection among his followers for the very first time.

I can tell you that if a mob were trying to break down my doors in the middle of the night that they would meet the business end of my Mossberg 12 gauge. She unfortunately learned that lesson the hard way by attempting to intrude through the doors against orders of armed officers.
Yep. When you’re the last line of protection for members of the US Congress against people you don’t know coming through the windows, you shoot. And if this had in fact been hard leftists attacking the Capitol @newfie would be completely on board with the shooting.

The Driver

I drive.
its not the middle of the night .

its a well lit hallway that shows an un armed woman tresspassing.

cop that shot her was no more than 10 feet away and had a clear view of her.
And the cops were repeatedly ordering them to desist from breaking down the door and to not enter.

Why are you anti-law enforcement?

antifa is known to deploy these tactics and has done so frequently the last 5 years.

What, there were probably hundreds of cops there. Only ONE cop decided he wanted to kill a girl in a window.
Honestly, I understand that someone breaking in takes a chance on getting shot.
What I can't wrap my head around is why this one cop felt he had to shoot to kill (or really, shoot at all).

Trump's Education Secretary Betsy DeVos submits resignation

"Education Secretary Betsy DeVos has submitted her resignation, saying President Donald Trump's role in spurring the mob that breached the US Capitol on Wednesday was "the inflection point," making her the second Cabinet member to resign over the incident.

In her resignation letter to Trump dated Thursday, which CNN obtained a copy of, DeVos called the rioters' behavior "unconscionable" and wrote, "There is no mistaking the impact your rhetoric had on the situation, and it is the inflection point for me."

"Impressionable children are watching all of this, and they are learning from us," she added.
"I believe we each have a moral obligation to exercise good judgment and model the behavior we hope they would emulate. They must know from us that America is greater than what transpired yesterday."
Betsy Devos is grandstanding , she was going to be out of a job in a week anyway it's a lame attempt to try to make herself look good !!! There seems to be a lot of that these days , but I'm not buying it sorry !!!

You know what you don’t see any videos of? The insurrectionists coming face to face with members of Congress during the attack. Know why? Because when they tried to enter the protected area sheltering them, that one officer started shooting. That was apparently enough for them to get the idea that proceeding further wasn’t a good idea. It worked and it kept our elected representatives safe. That shouldn’t be a problem for you.

People quitting now were going to be fired in a couple of weeks anyway.

It might have NOT been a problem for me if he had fired a couple of shots into the doorframe first.
Nope, went right for the kill shot instead.

A member of the vice presidents security detail in a covered position behind a barricaded door takes a clean single shot to a person infiltrating the position without putting anyone else at risk is somehow poorly trained? Oh brother,

"The idea that the real victims of the attempted coup are Trump and his supporters comes directly from the president. He has portrayed himself as the victim in chief throughout his time in office, and his decisive loss in November has only amplified his already huge grievance."

Quote President Trump inciting a riot.
I keep asking, none of you lefties can do it.

I and my fellow gun owners have always mocked the idea of firing “warning shots” when the hard left has brought it up as a way to address threats. And now they’re supposedly a good idea to Trumpees because a white woman was shot coming through a window and an officer protecting sheltering members of Congress shot her. Nice.

Believe it or not there are many Americans out there that have their own mind and their own brain and they make their own decisions . Everybody's responsible for their own actions . Unlike Democrats , I don't jump off a bridge just because the president says so !!!
