Storming the Capitol

If you can't understand the difference between Trump telling his supporters to "fight like hell" in his general messaging and Trump telling his supporters to go to the Capitol Building and "fight like hell" or lose their country during a joint session of Congress to count electoral votes from the states there's nothing I can do for you.

“We’re going to the Capitol,” he said. “We’re going to try and give them the kind of pride and boldness that they need to take back our country.”

The president added: “If you don’t fight like hell, you’re not going to have a country anymore.”
Then in court, any rioters should be let go as they were acting on the Presidents orders (according to you).

theres no conflict 99.9 percent of the trump group understood trumps desire to protest peacefully and did so.
You and I were ridiculing that same line of thinking last summer when the hard left idiots were saying their protests were mostly peaceful.

"I was just following orders" has rarely, if ever been a reasonable or successful defense strategy.

i was not laughing at our cities burning must have been one of your leftie circle jerks

It only took Trump 4 years, but he has united Americans. Patriotic Americans want him arrested and jailed. Him being impeached is small potatoes as Trump is a lame duck President. His term is finished in 10 days. The protestors who stormed the Capitol won’t be voting in 2024 as they’ll have criminal records now. Idiots. There won’t be time for expunge. Those idiot protestors are costing we tax payers millions in police and courts. Meanwhile a virus that is on pace to kill over 500,000 Americans rages on. Unemployment up again. Trump Presidency has been a huge disappointment.

You know how things went down when the hard lefties were making their "mostly peaceful" argument. You're making the same argument now.
its hard to make that argument when half the city is on fire. in this case there 100 k or more trump people protested peacefully and only 100 were destructive and somehow got a different message .
the message to protest peacefully was clearly delivered the lefts attempts to make some rediculous other argument

If he would have said

"We're going to the Capitol, take it and possess it, it belongs to You, to Us," there would be no argument

This is a statement of giving, not taking, an effort to encourage lawmakers to have pride and boldness to do the right thing.

We aren't the left, we don't operate like you.

LOL. Uh huh. He didn't mention taking full possession of the football. Errr, I mean, the Capitol. So it's all good.

Nonsense

You know damn well he didn't mean for them to take the Capitol, he has no problem making a direct point he wants to make.

I guess this was another of the dog whistle moments your side fabricates.

Maybe if he said we are five minutes away from fundamentally changing the country you would be all in.

Republicans are constantly fighting like a boxer with his hands tied behind his back. It’s like a boxer, and we want to be so nice. We want to be so respectful of everybody,
