So yesterday's transgressions were against Government employees performing their Government job responsibilities ...You don't need a weapon to be a terrorist.

police and protestors are both terrorists quite often. So yesterday's transgressions were against Government employees performing their Government job responsibilities ...
... so that means yesterday's unlawful use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims should not be misconstrued as terrorism?
I was a teenager and very much into antigovernmental activities during the Vietnam war protests in the '60s ...it has been many times over the years I remember the Vietnam war protest in the '60s
Oh crap!police and protestors are both terrorists quite often.
The government mostly left the protestors alone in the 60's. Kent State was an aberration and didn't take place until 1970I was a teenager and very much into antigovernmental activities during the Vietnam war protests in the '60s ...
one huge difference is that the force used against the protestors was very much restrained compared to the late 60's protests.
This song still brings up emotional hatred of Governments!
Uhhhhh ...The government mostly left the protestors alone in the 60's. Kent State was an aberration and didn't take place until 1970
That wasn't about Vietnam. 68 was pretty much the year cities burned over race issues.Uhhhhh ...

The shooter was a coward. She broke through police barricades outside the capital
She broke through the capital entrance with a mob and was trespassing
A second barricade to a door inside the building she was already trespassing was breached with a gunman standing behind it pointing at them as they continued to break down that door. That was their warning.
After an opening was created by the mob she jumped up and attempted to enter that opening where she was shot.
She was a terrorists and treated as such.
I am all for peoples right to protest to get their word out but when you are breaking the law and put the fear of harm into others you have crossed the line. This is America and in the end its a sad sad day.
You are incorrect. The shooter was a coward.
Looks like he had trouble operating the gun properly prior to firing it.
Standing inside a doorway, which means he could have retreated into the room behind him if he thought his life was in danger.
But instead he stepped forward to fire at a person who was not directly in front of him and most likely would have fallen on top of the over turned chairs that were blocking the way, if she had gone forward.
And the heavily armed police in riot gear standing behind her clearly weren't threatened. At one point one of the police seemed to aim towards where the shot came from, probably wondering why he shot her.The shooter was a coward.

If there were others behind him, as you suggest, then closing the door and preventing entry would have been a smarter move. You are incorrect.
Inside where he was are the people it's his job to protect. He created a choke point by using the doorway which is a smart tactical move. He now created a situation where anyone trying to advance on him is now forced to walk themselves into the "kill zone". The mob kept advancing on him with the thought of "he isn't going to shot us". After she was dropped they all stopped.
Good job.
Wrong. The only true higher being. He's sitting in my garden now covered with snow.I'm thinkin' Buddha is a false god.
You have the draw the line somewhere and his was that door. If someone was breaking into you home and you had a firearm , you first warn them behind a locked door "I have a gun and will shot if you enter". If they breach that door and advance then you have the right to stop that threat. In your example if they broke down that door you would retreat to a bedroom ? Now they break down that door. Now you retreat to a bathroom and they break down that door ? How far do you allow it to go?If there were others behind him, as you suggest, then closing the door and preventing entry would have been a smarter move.
As the video shows , other heavily armed officers were directly behind the woman and one even aimed his rifle towards the shooter.
