Storming the Capitol

DELACROIX

In the Spirit of Honore' Daumier
They forced their way into our Capitol and engaged in vandalism and intimidation. I am upset at the police leadership. If that was a crowd of Muslims they'd all be dead.

The MAGA lunatics should be happy they didn't get mowed down.

One did...

Right? Everyone knows Mexico ain't paying for a damn wall.
First of all the wall is working very well according to border patrol and there's been some major drug busts and they have found some tunnels in the process . Money well spent !!! Democrats have wasted a lot more money on things that never work out like Iran and the Paris climate nonsense . Just to name a few, waste of money !!!

In his first tweet since he was forced to delete three previous posts and serve a 12-hour ban from the service, Trump said Thursday he was “outraged by the violence, lawlessness and mayhem” in Wednesday’s assault on the U.S. Capitol by Trump supporters.
“To those who engaged in the acts of violence and destruction: You do not represent our country,” Trump said “And to those who broke the law: You will pay.”

'His entire legacy was wiped out yesterday': Hill Republicans ready to move on from Trump

“Rep. Nancy Mace, a freshman from South Carolina who worked on Trump's 2016 campaign, decried the President's rhetoric for encouraging the violence.

"His entire legacy was wiped out yesterday," said Mace on CNN's New Day Thursday.

Her fellow South Carolina Republican, Sen. Lindsey Graham, echoed Mace's assessment on Thursday, saying Trump's role in inciting the mob "breaks my heart" and is a "self-inflicted wound" that will be a stain on his presidency.”

“Sen. John Thune of South Dakota, a member of the GOP leadership team, suggested that the President's actions and rhetoric were to blame for both costing Republicans their Senate majority and inciting his supporters to storm the Capitol on Wednesday.”

“Sen. Kevin Cramer of North Dakota, a staunch Trump ally, said the President does "bear some responsibility" for the riot at the Capitol. "Certainly he bears responsibility for his own actions and his own words," he said, adding that Trump was "pouring fuel on a spark" by attacking Mike Pence Wednesday.

"And then just the call to march down the Capitol, it was inciting," he added. "It was all really awful."
march down there and peacefully protest as i showed you earlier. keep repeating your lies maybe they will stick

That's exactly what I've been thinking. Thank God they didn't hurt or kill any of our Congresspeople. We already look like clowns to our enemies overseas... imagine if one or more of our representatives were killed in this terrorist attack?
you've dedicated your life trying to please someone overseas?

if it was a crowd of muslims your democrat leaders would have welcomed them in given them lap dances and showered them with sexual gratuities.

i was defending joe biden against your unfounded charges that he told them to riot today
That's right. Nobody rioted today after Joe Biden's comments. Trump didn't fail to understand the power his words had on the masses he knew it and tried to use it in any way that benefited him regardless of the consequences. This is why Pence will not invoke the 25th. He knows that Trump is done for politically potentially given him a shot at the big time if he keeps cool .

He'll lay low making very limited public appearances throughout the rest of the year. Then slowly pick up the pace building more favorable standing with evangelicals . He doesn't want to be the next Dan Quayle.... completely forgotten.
