direct quote - We have come to demand that Congress do the right thing and only count the electors who have been lawfully slated, lawfully slated. I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.‘We will never concede’: How Donald Trump incited an attack on America
"Trump’s statements leading up to and during the storming of the Capitol building, however, did not include explicit calls for a violent attack on America’s democratic institutions. Instead, those laying blame on Trump are pointing in part to rhetoric that agitated his followers with conspiratorial lies and instilled a sense of imminent doom—while relying on them to make the final decision to act. This is a version of the “stochastic terrorism” tactics common to authoritarian leaders around the world."
"On Dec. 19, Trump promised a “big protest in D.C. on January 6th. Be there, will be wild!” Trump promoted the rally again on Dec. 27, Dec. 30, and Jan. 1, in tweets compiled by the New York Times.
At the rally, Trump delivered the same inflammatory rhetoric and false claims that have characterized his entire presidency. For most of an hour, he reiterated claims that the election had been stolen—claims which have been rejected as unfounded by at least 59 courts, including many headed by Trump-appointed judges.
Trump also repeatedly intimated that his followers should take action. Near the beginning of his speech, Trump even made what appeared to be an indirect threat to Vice President Mike Pence, who, Trump incorrectly told his supporters, had the power to overturn the Nov. 3 election results.
“I just talked to Mike [Pence],” Trump told the crowd. “I said, ‘Mike, [overturning the results] doesn’t take courage. What takes courage is to do nothing. That takes courage.’…We’re just not going to let that happen.”
As the speech continued, Trump edged ever closer to calling for direct action by his supporters.
“We will never give up; we will never concede,” Trump said to thunderous applause. “We will stop the steal. We’re going to walk down Pennsylvania Avenue, and we’re going to the Capitol…We’re going to try and give our Republicans, the weak ones…the kind of pride and boldness that they need to take back our country.”
Supporters followed Trump’s call to march to the Capitol. Within less than two hours, they had forced their way through barricades, then through the doors of the Capitol building, forcing the evacuation of legislators."
Bump.Look at them storming the capitol!
It's like a bloody revolution in there!
Total madness!
A little wink wink "I didn't know they'd do that" moment there in the 18th minute of his speech before it was time to provide the actual "suggestions" to his seditionist mob.I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.
I guess it would be like blaming the the Canucks in '14 for the vancouver riots. So he incited a riot by disagreeing with Democrats. Really, this is just the pathetic safetyism of leftists on display.
well that kills the narrativeBump.
I'd like to hear some Libturd comments on this.
no wink wink . the wording is clearly encouraging a peaceful protest. If he told them the opposite you would never make the argument that he was just joking. you would hang all over his words and quote them like it was jesus christ speaking===

Highly edited quotes from a very biased communist.‘We will never concede’: How Donald Trump incited an attack on America

55 have been charged including a West Virginia state legislator and the manhunt is underway for many more. It would appear that the participants actually believed that they could launch an armed assault on the US Capital in which 5 people died then get back in their cars and just drive away same as Dear Leader. Well, some people have already lost their jobs many more will likely follow and chances are quite a number will lose their freedom for a long time while others will spend the rest of their lives on the run. That, along with the old video allegedly showing the buses of leftists being escorted into DC demonstrate the level of gullibility we are dealing with here.
It took so long to get in because everybody was removing their shoes and looking for the coat check.Look at them storming the capitol!
It's like a bloody revolution in there!

Not trying to be anI doubt they ever show this on MSM! LOL
And there are those among us who believed myself included that his threats and intimidation efforts against Georgia election officials would be his last and best efforts to stay in office. I was wrong. There indeed was nothing DJT would not do in order to stay in power.‘We will never concede’: How Donald Trump incited an attack on America

Good. I hope they lay it on elected Republicans thick so they'll never forget the throngs of insurrectionist, reality-disconnected thugs they helped create.
Drama Queens!"Attack! Hurr durr."
"Insurrection! Duhhhhh.... "
"Coup! Nyuck nyuck nyuck."
I feel really bad for the people who have so completely broken from reality and now live entirely in a fantasy world. So sad.![]()
