Tuesday: Regular truck swapped out with a different truck. Never wrote the original truck up in dvir

Wed: Late air was shuttled out. Received message to go to the UPS store 2 to get the package. It wasn't dropped off at the usual UPS store 1. It was dropped off at UPS store 2 that is much further away.

Go to the UPS store 2 which is further away and when I get inside can't find the package. Told to try the UPS store 1.

About 2:30pm As I am leaving UPS store 2 to head towards the UPS store 1 I hit a curb and notice something falling in my peripheral vision. The sound made by object sounded like package car keys. Stopped and noticed lockbox was open and found the spare keys on floor.

Arrive at UPS store 1. Package was at the closer UPS store 1 the entire time.

Looking for opinions on what happened that day.

Management is blaming mechanics for not properly closing the lockbox.

I have a hard time believing an improperly closed lockbox would last from 0900hours to 1400 hours without spare keys falling out sooner.

My opinion onroad sup tried to enter vehicle.

Can an onroad sup enter the package car while you are on lunch? Even when inside package car while on lunch?

How can I obtain telematics data to see if any unusual activity for the package car for that day?

If the onroad sup did try to enter vehicle what rights do I have? Grievance if so what type? harassment?

Thanks

Its the company's vehicle. They can enter anytime they want with or without you. You don't own anything.

Also on roads don’t usually need the spare keys. Most have a master key to open the cargo area to every truck.

Normal UPS cluster. The shop pulls cars without telling anybody all the time. Air drop off is always messed.

Why you bouncing off curbs? Maybe you should concentrate more on your driving.

My concern is two children ages 5 and 3 that have or still are being abused by exgf. I am the only line of defense for them. CPS, Law enforcement, family court have done nothing even when I've shown proof of abuse. I got the ex to admit under oath that at the time it took place they shook and threw a 2yo. I have enough to deal without BS at work. I have zero tolerance for any BS right now.

UPS wants to buyout drivers so they want to cut the workforce. They will trim the workforce one way or another. I've heard other drivers make comments about this on-road sup as being shady/don't trust them. I have noticed the same.
