We should've sent special forces troops to track UBL and leave it at that. No stupid nation building attempt. Glad we're out now, finally (hopefully?).

Then why wasn't the war won when your Bush god invaded? He had 8 of those years to win the war. The withdrawal from Afghanistan began when Trump wanted to invite the Taliban to Washington. Not only was it his stated plan to withdraw from Afghanistan he wanted to bring troops back from other parts of the world as well.

Therefore even if your dear leader had won the election the final chapter of the Afghan War would not have been much different than the one currently being written.

Whoever is assigned the majority of the blame one thing is certain. When the rest of the world enters the twenty second century Afghanistan will still be stuck in the ninth

I’ll never understand this defeatist attitude among isolationists. We had already won, the war was winding down. We already didn’t have that many boots on the ground over there, from what I understand it was mostly air support that kept the taliban in check. Joe Biden flushed 2 generations of american blood down the toilet for a cheap political victory of being the great peace maker and ender of wars, no he just kicked the can down the road like all these leftist scumbags do at the expense of the next generation that will now grow up with an emboldened taliban in control of a country. Another rogue government in the world.

Your conservative hero GW Bush spent 8 years there and he couldn't beat the Taliban . What makes you think that Biden could do what his predecessors 2 of them Republican couldn't do? Furthermore what makes you think that if Trump had won he would not have carried out his well publicized decision to withdraw from Afghanistan?

You would have to search far and wide in order to find a qualified diplomatic or military assessment that would tell you that we had the war won.

What would you have them to do? How about we draft your kid into the military and send him over there to fight a determined enemy driven by the most dangerous and impossible to defeat motivation.....religion.
