Trump seems to believe we’re the only place China can sell goods. There’s a whole world market out there. They already shifted their buying of soy beans to other countries. Those sales aren’t coming back to the US, Trump is making us an unreliable partner. The trade war is just ceding our place as the leader of the world, everyone else is moving on making deals with each other.
So tax increases don’t have an impact on the economy when it’s this strong. Hmm, maybe it would be a good time to pay down some debt with increased taxes.
Grain futures are now the lowest they've been since 2008. They're running out of time Trump knows it and is now preparing another bail out package but the previous one only provided a few cents per bushel in the way of relief. Remember how congressional Republicans bitterly opposed bail out packages for other severely impacted banks and industries a few short years ago?
We are double their economy. They need our market. Level the tariff China.

They don’t need our market. They can sell to the rest of Asia, all of Europe, Africa, North and South America and Australia. Plenty of markets to sell their wares, we’re a big one but not even close to the only one. It’s hubris to assume we’re the only market to sell to.
Right on. When it comes to trade we're big but not the Big Enchilada when it comes to economic growth an trade . It's going to come from Asia and South America. Now if you mentioned the Belt and Road Initiative to Wally he would have no idea what you're talking about.
