  • The high speed chase involved collisions with at least 20 other vehicles and police cruisers before coming to a halt in Silver Spring
  • Following the incident, Lanuza, currently hospitalized, was arrested with a detainer request from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)

None of the three inside were able to provide a driver’s license or spoke English and the license plate was found to belong to another vehicle, police said
