McDonald's closes US offices as it prepares to layoff employees

McDonald's has temporarily shut down all of their U.S. offices as they prepare to deliver layoff messages online to an unknown number of their employees across the country.

According to a new report from The Wall Street Journal, the layoffs will begin Monday after they told employees to work from home so they can fire their staff virtually.

I don’t think the disparity is quite as great as you think. Sure, their wages are lower and that’s real and needs to be fixed but the benefits they receive they could not even buy on their own.

How would a parttime individual fare with $1 million worth of health benefits paid for them without this “worthles part time job.

And I’ve always looked at the part time job the way I handled it. At first it got me through college Then It was just a steppingstone to go full-time. Different people want different things so obviously not everyone wants to go full-time and that’s their choice.

Fast Food joints have always been considered as entry level jobs.
This is where one learns how to exist with in a corporate structure and build up their experiences.
But with some many joints closing nation wide, many will not be getting their chance.
