Hollywood thinks it's the time for woman themed movies to take over, unfortunately the last 2 movies have been major disappointments.
i think its neoliberalism where "progress" is when hillary clinton gets elected.

real womens progress would be a womens rights movement. real black progress would be a civil rights movement, not when some crooked neoliberal called obama gets elected. being a black american president is an achievement but we shouldnt conflate that with racial justice.

This is a big mess: (1) there were free and fair elections, and Evo Morales won them in a landslide; (2) the “interim leadership” are illegitimate fascists backed by the United States; and (3) she can’t even say the word “coup”

The Bolivian people deserve free and fair elections, as soon as possible. Bolivia's interim leadership must limit itself to preparing for an early, legitimate election. Bolivia's security forces must protect demonstrators, not commit violence against them. https://npr.org/2019/11/16/780

Oh my god: Elizabeth Warren supports the Trump/Bolton policy of recognizing Juan Guaido as the legitimate President of Venezuela even though he's never been elected to that position, and also wants to starve Venezuela even further by sanctions. This is really disturbing:

Elizabeth Warren supports Juan Guaido. Supports sanctions of Venezuela. Says Maduro is starving his people even though she acknowledges that the US has economic sanctions and that she supports those sanctions. She's horrible and a threat to Latin America.

FBI classifies FaceApp as counterintelligence threat, citing ties to Russian intelligence

In a letter sent to Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Nov. 25 that was made public on Monday, Jill Tyson, the assistant director of the FBI’s Office of Congressional Affairs, wrote that given that the company that develops FaceApp is based in St. Petersburg, certain intelligence concerns were raised.

“The FBI considers any mobile application or similar product developed in Russia, such as FaceApp, to be a potential counterintelligence threat, based on the data the product collects, its privacy and terms of use policies, and the legal mechanisms available to the Government of Russia that permit access to data within Russia’s borders,” Tyson wrote.

In classifying FaceApp as a threat, Tyson pointed to the ability of the Russian Federal Security Service to “remotely access all communications and servers on Russian networks without making a request to [internet service providers].”

Bloomberg - Are you a robot?

U.S. intelligence and law enforcement officials are assessing whether Russia is trying to undermine Joe Biden in its ongoing disinformation efforts with the former vice president still the front-runner in the race to challenge President Donald Trump, according to two officials familiar with the matter.
The probe comes as senior U.S. officials are warning that Russia’s election interference in 2020 could be more brazen than in the 2016 presidential race or the 2018 midterm election.
It isn’t clear how far along intelligence and law enforcement officials are in probing a possible Russian disinformation drive against Biden and how formal the effort is. The Federal Bureau of Investigation declined to comment.

The biggest immediate takeaways from the redacted version:

  1. Carter Page is a spy for the Russian government. He is not an unwilling or unwitting collaborator. He is a full on spy working for Russian intel and military.

  2. Carter Page met with the president of Rosneft while in Russia when he was part of Trump's campaign. This confirms a huge part of the Steele Dossier

  3. Carter Page sought damaging material on Clinton while in Russia from Russian intel. Direct collusion and criminal conspiracy.
Unless Page has sung like a bird about everyone above him, he will die in prison. He may also be executed.
I wonder how many millions Page will get in the settlement, LOL!

So the FISA court says at least two of the warrants were fraudulent. And yet I've been arguing with you guys for years about their veracity. You all wanted to believe so badly it's true. Never was. And now you've got Schiff trying his best to come up with something that'll stick. I don't know of any time in our history a political party has gone off the rails as badly as the Democrats have.

DOJ: Two warrants letting FBI spy on ex-Trump aide Page were not valid

“WASHINGTON — The Justice Department has concluded that two of the four court orders allowing the FBI to conduct secret national security surveillance on former Trump campaign aide Carter Page were not valid because the government made "material misstatements" in obtaining them, according to a newly declassified judicial order.

The disclosure by James Boasberg, the top judge on the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, underscores the extent to which the FBI bungled its handling of a highly sensitive case, a failure that is continuing to have serious policy and political repercussions.

The order says the department told the court it now believes it did not have probable cause to believe that Page was acting as an agent of a foreign power, which was required to obtain the surveillance.”

So the first 2 warrants were ok but the ones that continued the surveillance were a bit sketchy? WDFD. Sounds like they had probable cause to start watching him. This is a spin job by the administration.
