The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming!

...

Nah
If no one else got involved then Russia would still be slaughtering civilians in Ukraine. Apparently negotiating to you means the Ukrainians give in to Russia's demands.
Their demands before and after this started weren't the least bit unreasonable. Ukrainian neutrality, and independence for the Eastern/Southern areas. I fear we're far beyond the point of it being that easy now though.

Your claim was that peace talks were the responsibly of Ukraine and Russia, not us. If we don't have a place at the table, they shouldn't be getting money, weapons, troops, or anything else from us. Simple.

Peace talks stopped because Boris Johnson and Pelosi told Zelenskyy not to talk and to fight to the last Ukrainian.

No effort to resolve this peacefully by the West, whatsoever.
Because Washington doesn’t want peace. The Warhawks are out in full force, we are even going back to Somalia. Why? Good Question. But I’m sure Sean Hannity and Mark Levin will come around to support Joe Biden as long as there’s war involved. It’s the one thing these guys agree on.

Reasonable? Before the fighting started ten years ago there was a Ukrainian majority in the Donbas. Russia wanting to carve off territory of another sovereign nation isn't reasonable. That being said Khrushchev gave the Crimean Peninsula to the Ukraine Soviet Republic back in the 50's and it's overwhelmingly of Russian ethnicity. So I can see Putin taking that back and that's pretty much a done deal. Russia shouldn't be dictating to sovereign nations how they are to conduct themselves assuming those nations are treating their Russian minorities fairly.

Russia shouldn’t be dictating
To sovereign nations, I agree and neither should we.

Then you haven't been watching Hannity and Levin.

And you live in a fantasy world. Russia was sending troops into numerous countries to support communist insurgents.

america has done the same. the answer is not WARSAW or NATO from what ive heard. NATO existed to defend against WARSAW. its long gone now, but then the excuse changed. nato is an aggressive force. and btw, theres other aggressive countries you support like israel, saudi arabia.

You mean we support countries who defend themselves from aggression like Israel, Saudi Arabia. NATO existed to defend itself from the Soviet Union. The Warsaw Pact(it's not capitalized) consisted of countries forced into an alliance with the Soviet Union. Had puppet governments under Moscow's control. When protesters in Hungary and Czechoslovakia tried to break free from that control the Soviet Union sent in the tanks. NATO existed to keep that from happening to them. When the Soviet Union broke up the Warsaw Pact Eastern European countries sought protection from future Russian aggression by joining NATO. Weapon sales? Sure, there's some, but those countries spend very little on defense.

Then let Ukraine and Russia hash it out. But giving weapons to a much smaller nation to defend itself isn't dictating anything.
OK fine,
I respect your opinion on that although I don’t necessarily agree. But how about we get Joe Biden and his administration to talk peace and not war. There’s going to be some sort of agreement unless we plan on blowing the hell out of each other.

no no israel and saudis like america are terribly aggressive countries.

its was billions in weapons sales. thats why nato expanded. it wasnt for security, US intelligence knew it too. for example now were on brink of ww3 and putin likely has been clear about that.

they left around same time russian empire ended. coincidence? when american empire finishes maybe NATO will collapse the same.

No one forced Eastern European countries to join NATO. They asked to join. Why?
