I believe it will once Russia achieves its objectives. But if you're right, it sure would be nice if the West gave negotiating a try. As opposed to...not.

Hey, it's tough being the world police and last line of defense for candy ass Canadians. Russia would've run all over you by now if the U.S. never existed. You'd be eating borscht and crying for the long lost Tim Horton's.

I wonder if Russia will get 100,000 troops killed before they start dropping tactical nukes? If they use small nukes on major Ukrainian cities I doubt the West will respond. We aren't going to use ICBM's unless they launch first and we aren't going to send troops into an area where small nukes are being used. Not to mention sending in troops might launch the big ICBM's. So it'll come down to whether Russia will withdraw or use small nukes because I don't think they can win conventionally in Ukraine.
