Still a Trumper. All of the items you mention, Trump failed at, with the exception of inflation, which Covid kept in check when the economy shut down. Oh, yeah, all of those dead folks and Trump's "on the fly" news conferences where he tried to downplay Covid so it wouldn't hurt his numbers. Trump has one concern, and that's himself and how he can use the office to increase his income. He's an autocrat, who wants to be a dictator, and you're fine with one man who knows everything, as in "only I can fix it". He's an actor pretending to be a president, as in a reality show where you govern by ratings, not competence.
He's a criminal and a con man, but he's your boy.

Most of the GOP field was part of the Trump administration at one point or another. Haley was Secretary of State and Christie handled Trump's transition team. None of them stand out as a legitimate challenger to the cult of Trump, and it is a cult.

I think Trump needs to pick MTG as a running mate and that DeSantis should choose fellow Floridian and Right Wing crazy Matt Gaetz. That way, The Fourth Reich will have a chance to progress into the White Nationalist theocracy you all seem to crave.
