I've seen some on tv. Are you of the opinion that when a parent, or a school, decides that a child is trans that they are usually right? Exactly what's the harm in waiting until the child is a legal adult? It's their body.

You shouldn’t believe everything you see on tv, didn’t your mother teach you that? I would like to see some sources of this though, everything I’ve seen shows the opposite

That's cool. But no one should be expected to pretend you're a male and accommodate you accordingly. You're not a male.

No one is expected to. This is America and we have freedom of speech. If you want to be an to some that is your right.

I’ve seen one transgender at work one time. Seen a couple at a grocery store. If they asked me to refer to them as “she”, I would. Just like if someone asked me to call them by a different name because they hate the one they were given at birth, would on that also. It’s really not a big deal to me

Couching things in the extreme to win an argument. Can't hide the fact that centers specializing in "gender affirmative care" sprung up very quickly around the country. Trans became quite the rage for awhile. We discussed it extensively here a year or two ago. And yes quite a few parents were getting nilly with their kid's Willy.

To me that is what you are doing. We’re talking about transgenders and basically just letting them live their lives, and you’re bringing up parents forcing their kids to get surgery because you saw it on the tv, when in reality that is the vast vast minority, if it’s ever happened

1,200 surgeries on minors in the busiest year, vast majority of those were chest surgeries. Not exactly setting the world on fire.

I’m not “arguing for transgenderism”, you guys are arguing against it. I’m not arguing for you to become a transgender. I’m not going to become a transgender. I’m saying there is a very small group of people who are transgender, they can’t help it, and we should let them live their lives and treat them with respect like we would anybody else

We live in relative opulence and safety from an historic perspective. Arguing about the civil rights and/or acceptable level of tolerance towards a marginalized group is an American pastime.

Basically we’re spoiled and have to find something to argue about or punch down and isolate and further marginalize. We’re under no threat from transgender Americans but an enemy must be created to give conservatives a unifying project while their politicians work on dismantling liberal institutions and government programs that help our people.

And when we say to the Left fine, let them live their lives and be respectful to them, the Left says ok, we want them altered physically as soon as possible. We want them to be able to play on sports teams of the sex they identify with. To use the locker rooms of the sex they identify with even if they are physically intact and unaltered. And everyone must learn and use their preferred pronouns. If you aren't willing to do this we will see you fired from your job. You will be disqualified from competition.

You're in denial. There were hospitals suddenly specializing in sex change surgery. Got exposed for operating on children. You are terribly uninformed if you think it never happened.
