You cut him some slack, he was a sorry scoundrel. Cut taxes for the rich, while raising taxes on the poor/middle class. Iran/Contra/funding terrorists/ignored the AIDs epidemic/amnesty to 3 million illegals/unemployment skyrocketed to 11%/raided Social Security/attacked the unions/raised taxes 11 times, mostly on middle class Americans/raised taxes 7 of his 8 years in office/raised the debt ceiling 17 times. The GOP should forget the even knew Ronnie.

And Libs act like it's the 1960s. With all the talk of GOP racism, war on women, voting rights abuses of blacks. When can the era of big, intrusive, abusive govt be over?

No you'll have to give up the disastrous progressive policies of the early 1900s. Example, income tax, federal reserve, changing election of senators to popular vote instead of the state legislators doing it. That did more to damage the power the state govts were supposed to have.

Reagan's tax cuts where across the board, everyone got a income tax break. He also raised the cigarette tax, being a liib you should be praising his name. He also raised the gas tax. Most of the other tax increases were the elimination of tax deductions. He also doubled the revenue to the govt, another reason to praise his name for a lib. Not to mention he brought the USSR to its knees. And your prez is making sure Russia is as strong as it been since the break up of the Soviet Union. Then the disaster he's made out of the Middle East. And the one thing that will get under your skin the most, he's still the most popular prez in the 2nd half of the 20th century.

I"ll use the Beirut examples often to show just how tough raygun was. 1983: U.S. Embassy bombed; 1983: U.S. Marines Barracks bombed; 1984: New U.S. Embassy Annex bombed; 1984: CIA Station Chief William Buckley kidnapped from his own apartment. He died the following year while still in captivity.
1984: Reagan pulls all marines out of Lebanon.
1988: Pan AM Flight 103 bombed out of the sky.
Yeah, look at what tough guy St. Ronnie Reagan did and what the effects of his "toughness" were.

He brought the Soviet Union to its knees, didn't he? He freed 10s of millions of people in that process too. No matter what you do, you can't destroy the popularity of Reagan.
