You want a toe? I can get you a toe.
That's easier to say when your spouse pulls down serious jack.
10 grand is 10 grand.
Just not something I had ever considered as a part of retirement but I suppose maybe if I had a gravy what's a few more months right?

Plus 10k? How much vacation are you getting? None of my vacation checks are over $1000

That's the way I look at it.
(8 weeks- I rounded up a tad)

Division HR said I would be out of the system on Monday and that my vacation checks will now take another 4 weeks.

You are retired....you received your first pension check...you will be removed from GTS on a Monday because you cannot be removed from GTS during the week. Its just a paperwork game at this point. HR hates when the operators remove someone from GTS. Your retirement date will reflect 9/9/2015 in the HR system and you will show as retired in HR, payroll will cut you your checks I bet you get them in under 4 weeks.

I do not know what you are entitled to for 2016 under your supplement.

And the vacation pay helps with retirement drinking or what not.

Thank you. Not sure why I'm getting "disagrees" when the dang pension book (mine's PT company plan) says that after your separation, it's your responsibility to keep your address updated w/UPS, and you can do so via UPSers.com...

Because you do get cut off 6 months after you retire and will no longer be able to log in. I complained about it and was told that was how it was supposed to be. That was why I started coming here since I was no longer able to access information at UPSers.

I could get on for a little more than a year. Then, nothing.

@Bagels, you are wrong on this one.

I believe they changed it to lifetime a couple of years ago as a cost saving measure.
I can still log on and a few other retirees (Union) can as well.

Just logged on and see all kinds of stuff about nothing.
I go on here 3 or 4 times a year to log in my Volunteer hours.

Why would you want to log your volunteer hours..........?

I am a 40 year UPSer.
I appreciate what UPS has done and continues to do for me.
Like 99% of UPSers, I have done better financially than I had any reason to expect and much better than just about any other company.
When I do volunteer work for UPS sponsored activities, I log onto UPSers.com and post my hours there.
It helps with the PR for UPS and costs me nothing.
