Trouble is, the shutdowns were based on false numbers and the shutdowns do nothing to prevent the flu from spreading. Sooner or later things have to reopen, and when they do the flu will start again.

If and when they do decide to reopen they need to make sure that the barbershops and hair salons open first as there are a lot of people who are going to need to get squared away before heading back to the office.

It occurred to me that the Diamond Princess cruise ship is the perfect controlled environment in which the covid19 "pandemic has been concluded, and every person was thoroughly tested and quarantined. So I looked it up and found that all the articles are all over one month old. Very strange considering that it should be the perfect lab model for determining just how "exponentially" the virus spreads. This exponentiality is the foundational pillar of the Covid19 shutdown of all commerce. The testing took place in Japan, the perfect place to get trustworthy analysis, and yet, not a word about it since March 12th? They tested 100% of the people onboard, and the death rate was 0.5. That's not something to shutdown the world for.

Too early to tell. Their older population took a hit but what were their numbers in previous years? Did neighbor countries prevent deaths or just prolong the pain? No one knows.
