What is the Article Number regarding pay for towing a TP60 trailer if any?
This would be in your supplmental. I don't believe it's in the National Master.
We would need to know what supplment/rider you work under.
Add that to your retro!
.10 is pretty low. I believe we are .35 extra a hour.
Wow- in a 10 hour day you can pull in an extra 68 or 70 cents after taxes. Don't spend it all in one place.
10hr day at 10 cents/hr... tell em to pull their own trailer, not worth the extra liability.
The TP60 in the local center was ada’d was seen leaving town behind a wrecker.
If you were trained and certified....
What's the extra "liability" ?
We had a newbie loose one on the freeway.
It passed him, before winding up in the median.
The only one to lose their job, was the on-car supervisor.
No documentation on training....
More moving parts the more that can go wrong. That combined with the amount of extra work you get for the pay is not even close to worth it .
Imo package car guys are in too much of a hurry to be pulling these.
Hitch, safety chains, lights, and watch your mirrors ?
All we do....
Is run NDA.. then drop them off.. and pick them up at the end of the day.
When I pulled one it wasn't the .10 cents I cared about, it was the fat allowance they gave you for couple and uncouples. move that sucker a time or two and it was the same as 40 resi stops for half the time and effort. Although I'm sure that's long since changed.
All that combined with most guys are in a hurry is just asking for trouble. Look at all the accidents we been having with just the package cars . It use to be a shock when a driver got into an accident. Now it's just a typical week .
TP-60 is one wide roll of toilet paper!
Couple times a week at that. Just had a rollaway at a local building yesterday.
A tp60 has 60 rolls of toilet paper drivers can stop by
Separate names with a comma.
