Point is, the company can change what is current safety protocol and what is not. Things change. You do not make the rules. Is bracing really necessary? Don't know?
The company can and does make changes this will always be documented, but local management cannot direct you to work in a manner not consistent with UPS Company Training. They are bound by this training as much as you are

There's some good reasons why load retainers should be used, but road worthiness is pretty low on the list.

Yep- there's a couple on here and not necessarily feeder drivers. One suggested it is weak UPSers. (Pretty sure he was implying that I'm scared of UPS)
