Did you mean "fire" people? As long as they show up to work on time and do their job, I don't think UPS would care about their gender. If UPS started giving a hard time to transgenders, I think it would be opening up all kinds of legal trouble that they would rather avoid(discrimination).

They just paid $70K to a former employee for not giving him the day off to attend an annual religious event----I really don't think they want to start messing with transgenders.

Than again he is a former employee and don't have to deal with his problems any more. Not that it's right...

All the meds and surgery in the world can't make you a man or woman. Your born one way or the other. With that said this would likely fall under FMLA somehow.
