No, he wasn't 100% correct...by the numbers, immigrants (illegal or otherwise) have exactly the same, or in most cases lower crime rates than American citizens.

It's statistically true immigrants have lower crime rates than natural citizens.... but don't let those pesky facts get in the way of scape-goating the tired, poor, huddled masses. The only demographic that would is the Hispanic vote.

Polls have always favored securing our borders and curtailing illegal immigration. Hispanics included. Even people that are for a more open border don't want criminals coming through. So, you see..... its common sense and logical to want to stop criminals from entering our country (not to mention taking jobs and sucking social services dry). People from most political backgrounds think that way EXCEPT for liberals.
