Ukrainians be like:

He's in Kviv . His ass is on the line. The media has not shown him pulling babies from burning buildings but simply being where he needs to be leading the charge. what else did you need to know to overcome your i hate everyone politics?
you're answer seems to be I hate the guy and I'll fill in the blanks why later.
I hate him because the news has turned him into a folk hero which tells me all I have to know I’ve seen the same thing with Robert mueller, Tony fauci and several others

I love this country. I have the wherewithal to go anywhere on this Earth and live comfortably.. I'm good right here, in spite of people who cannot be named trying to bring authoritarianism to the place I was blessed to be born in.
"Those who cannot be named trying to bring authoritarianism"

I can name them: Democrats.
The nice thing about forums like this, is these people reveal themselves. The last two years showed them for what they are.

Carry on.

nowhere special
i doubt it, theyve expanded to 17 more countries around russia after they said they wouldnt
Did you see that on your Russian news site?

"The U.S.S.R. was never offered a formal guarantee on the limits of NATO expansion post-1990," John Lough, the research associate who authored the section, wrote. "Moscow merely distorts history to help preserve an anti-Western consensus at home."

do you know what your quoting here lol. who knows maybe it has some good journalists like RT did.

"

Government-Funded Organization
Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty
Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty is a United States government-funded organization that broadcasts and reports news, information, and analysis to countries in Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Caucasus, and the Middle East where it says …"

now back to the question at hand, it was a gentlemans agreement with UK, germany, france, USA. so it wasnt official. contrary to your article, russia allowed germany to be unified.

doesnt give you a right to encircle another country with weapons pointed at it, the way cuba pointed the weapons at you.

Which countries would that be?

I'm a star
The Ukrainians were fighting rebels in the Donbas.
Rebels? You mean the legitimate, sovereign, independent republics that Ukraine refuses to recognize, so they are ok to bomb a bunch of farmers, but Russia can't invade Ukraine to protect its interests? I'm not saying either is necessarily ok, but I'm not being hypocritical and ignoring the aggressions of Ukraine while pretending that Russia has no justification for invading.

Where was the stream of refugees into Russia?
What does that have to do with anything? Are you suggesting Ukraine wasn't bombing Donetsk and Luhansk because no refugees? I don't know that there weren't any, because it's irrelevent.

Again, you talked of the U.S. doing the same as the Russians indiscriminately shelling civilian neighborhoods.
You brought up the civilian thing. You're ok when the US does it. Enough with the crocodile tears.

Civilians died, they always do. But where was the mass displacement of refugees due to attacking the civilian population like in Ukraine? Guys like you make these statements then when you can't back them up you get personal.
You brought up refugees like it has any relevance. What statement did I make that I couldn't back up? How did I make it personal, by calling you a chicken hawk?

I'm asking you legitimate questions.
If irrelevant. Muh refugees... lol.

If you can't answer and try to shut the questioning down with personal attacks

What personal attack? Calling you a chicken hawk?

how are you any different than those saying you support Putin if you don't go along with everything they're saying?

I don't care if people demonstrate their ignorance by calling me a Putin supporter. If you're not a chicken hawk, tell me how. Don't you like it when the US murders civilians in Muslim countries under false pretenses? Or do I have you mixed up with someone else? It gets hard to keep track when I have half a dozen people standing in line to demonstrate how little they understand what they are talking about. It gets a bit much always being right and trying to keep track of all the ways the individual members of my fan club are wrong.

One of the oldest sayings about war is the first casualty of war is the truth. Obviously the Ukrainians were trying to rally the troops and international support with propaganda. What someone here might not understand is they're used to doing that. Propaganda is normal there. What they might not understand is people in the West are turned off by the manipulation. All kinds of factors to consider. Everything isn't the same cookie cutter pattern around the world and our interpretation of events may be different than their perception.

Uh huh, and...? The issue isn't the propaganda, it's the people who keep trusting the sources that continue to lie to them, and get caught lying all the time. It's like a three year old who keeps touching a hot stove and can't figure out why they keep getting burnt.

Most of the pro-Ukraine people that I interact with seem to form their views of the situation based on two pieces of information, "Ukraine good" and "Putin bad". It's the same as all the anti-trumpers who only understand "Orange Man bad". The pro-trumpers lived through this already, and they can't see they are falling for the same tactics. It's maddening. We've been living through an even more concerted effort over the last two years with the official covid misinformation campaign. How anyone can trust anything said by the mefia and the establishment is beyond me.

Which part of the blue?

The Budapest Memorandum: A Deal That Should Have Ensured Peace in Ukraine

By invading Ukraine, Russia has once again offended the nation’s sovereignty, and in doing so, breached the 1994 Budapest Memorandum. Russia is among the signatories of the agreement, which ensured respect for Ukraine’s borders and freedom from being invaded by Russia, in return for Ukraine giving up its nuclear weapons.

What statement did I make that I couldn't back up?
The following statement

Rebels? You mean the legitimate, sovereign, independent republics that Ukraine refuses to recognize, so they are ok to bomb a bunch of farmers, but Russia can't invade Ukraine to protect its interests?

Again, you can't point to any huge refugee exodus from countries the U.S. has been at war at. So what, you say. Uh-huh.

Which countries have recognized the Donbas insurrectionists as legitimate? Uh-huh.

You are without a doubt one of the most disingenuous posters on here.

El Correcto

god is dead
I used to think the media was full of :censored2: when it said right wingers fall for Russian propaganda yet here we are.
I brought it up because it's relevant. You only want to look at two factors, both being incorrect, to inform your opinion. That's cool. By all means, let your limitations make you feel bold enough to demonstrate your lack of understanding.

I guess the DOD was funding the labs for humanitarian purposes, and they scrubbed their existence from the US embassy's website because everything was on the up and up. And murdering over 1000 soldiers with experiments was a justifiable oopsie in the pursuit of bioweapons, er, I mean "science". It's ok that you're a misinformed chicken hawk, embrace it.
if I’m so misinformed why won’t you people give me some reading material. Oh wait you pull this non sense out of your ass or it is written in broken English translated from Russian.
