Union - is it Socialism?

Fair enough but you have to look at who they are asking. Of course countries in the Middle East, where they chant death to America and burn the American flag while committing honor killings and funding terrorism, are going to say America. I also find it strange that Mexico and Central America say it is America as well yet we can seem to stop them from coming here illegally and trying to sneak in.
i dont find middle east or central america suprising at all: these are the countries america has invaded and supported dictators in.

If I thought a country was dangerous or the biggest threat to peace in the world then I probably wouldn’t leave my home country to try to make a life in that country. That is why I think Mexico and Central America is strange. I think anyone in the Middle East naming America is laughable because it is coming from a region that sponsors terrorist organizations, believes in honor killings, and even uses chemical weapons on their own people. I would also say the world is a safer place without groups like Al Qaeda and ISIS being able to grow and spread like they once were.

the CIA funded al qaeda when it fought the russians. american government (probably like other governments but moreso) funds certain terrorist groups. and just the act of blowing up countries is terrorism. governments are always the biggest terrorist groups in developed countries id say.

central america is concerned with US invasions and election meddling, but that doesnt stop people from wanting to immigrate to a country with a relatively higher standard of living.

I don't think we should be in as many places as we are or stick our nose in as many conflicts as we do but I do think it is sometimes necessary. Do you think that if we pulled back from everything and just worried about defending our homeland we would be better off? Should we just wait until a country gets big enough and decides to attack us? Would it be better to have someone try to invade us and fight a war on our own soil? Or would none of that ever happen because people are generally good and humans have shown to be non violent historically? I am no expert on foreign policy but I do think we should protect our interests when we feel it is necessary.
