Union VS. Non-Union

The original post said this non union clerk has been there 11 years... If the clerk joins the union they would go by start date and would have 11 years seniority. 11 years and ONLY making 11 per hour is a joke...

Didn't happen that way for me. I worked as a non union clerk for 3 years before I started driving, that was 23 years ago and I only have 20 years seniority. I get vacation time based on the 23 years service, I bid and my pension go by the 20 years.
