I drove one of those during my first peak season as a seasonal driver. It had air brakes and I didn’t have a cdl. I didn’t ask too many question back in the day or really care I was 21 and making a thousand a week, that was all I needed to know.

Bunch of the rentals have air, I just make sure the door sticker says GVW is under 26k and I don’t ask questions LOL.

Heck, the can truck for air shuttle has air.

We finally crushed one here that leaked 6 quarts of oil daily. I am surprised that it did not catch on fire like the one in the OP photo.
