UPS Freight workers to receive multi-million wage award - Louisville Business First
Workers for UPS Freight will receive more than $2 million of withheld wages back as the result of a March 11 ruling that United Parcel Service Inc. violated an extension agreement.
The agreement in question was put in place in 2018 before a national contract was ratified later in the year. The ruling was a win for Teamsters labor union, a news release said.
Affected employees were in a wage progression system between Aug. 1 and Nov. 12, 2018. The amount they will get back depends on their wage progression status and seniority during that time period, and could be anywhere between a few hundred dollars to $1,500.
